What it is

How Business SMS & MMS works

US carriers require business texting to be registered. Local numbers use 10DLC brand and campaign registration, and toll-free numbers go through toll-free verification.

Messages must go to people who agreed to receive them, and opt-out requests such as STOP must be honored. Carriers can filter or block messages that do not meet these rules.
